Pre-K and Kindergarten Pre-K & K parent orientation schedules will be made on August 11, 2025. Parents will be notified and will attend the orientation on their scheduled date and time.
August 14-15: Pre-K & K Girls report to school. August 18-19: Pre-K & K Boys report to school. August 20th: AllPre-K & K students report to school.

The Tangipahoa Parish School System will operate on a summer work schedule. All schools, the central office, and branch offices are open Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM and are closed on Fridays.
Normal operating hours will resume the week of July 21, 2025. We hope you have a great summer break!

In a historic step forward, the plaintiffs in the 60-year federal desegregation case involving the Tangipahoa Parish School System have signed a consent agreement with the district in the areas of Faculty and Staff Assignment, Teacher Assignment, and Student Assignment. Following this agreement, attorneys for the school system have filed motions with U.S. District Judge Ivan Lemelle seeking final unitary status in all three of these key areas.
